Dejamos Barstow muy pronto por la mañana, aun nos quedan muchas millas por hacer hasta llegar a Las Vegas, tenemos que cruzar el desierto, y ya hace bastante calor, asi que cuanto antes nos vayamos, mejor...
Tras muchas millas de desierto, llegamos a Las Vegas, podemos ya ver desde la lejania, los grandes edificios, es increible como es posible un oasis asi en el medio del desierto...
Hemos llegado y nos ponemos a buscar el Hotel Venetian, nuestro hotel esta noche, es alucinante la cantidad de gente que se ve por las calles, con el calor que hace, son cerca de las 3pm, y estaremos a mas de 40C. Por suerte, en todos lados hay aire acondicionado, muy fuerte, asi que se puede sobrevivir. Tenemos que esperar un poco para la habitacion, ya que hay mucha gente, y algunos turistas son bastante plastas. Tras un poco, tenemos nuestra habitacion, asi que nos dirigimos a muestra suite del piso 21. Increible la habitacion, por poco mas de 100 dolares, 3 televisiones de plasma, una en el dormitorio, una en al salon y otra en el baño... alucinante!
Nos vamos a dar una vuelta, y a comer algo en uno de los restaurantes que ofrece este hotel. Tras la comida, nos vamos a hacer algo de compras y visitar otros hoteles, como Palazzo, Wynns, Encore, etc...
Tras un poco de compras y dar alguna vuelta por el casino, nos vamos a la habitacion, nos cambiamos y nos vamos a la piscina del hotel a descansar un poco y reservar fuerzas para la noche en el casino.
Por la noche, de todos los restaurantes que hay, el que mas nos llama es uno asiatico de noodles, bastante cerca del casino, asi qeu alli que nos vamos, para estar cerca del vicio del casino :P
Jugamos un poco al casino, y al poco, nos damos cuenta de que es ya bastante tarde, y hemos perdido suficiente dinero, asi que a la cama que nos vamos. Mañana tenemos una jornada de bastantes kilometros hasta el Gran Cañon, algo asi como 6 horas de conduccion.

We leave Barstow early in the morning, we still have loads of miles away from us to get to Vegas, we have to cross the desert, and it is already hot enough, so the earlier the better...
After miles and miles of desert, we arrive to Las Vegas, we can begin seeing the big building from up to 20 miles away, it is amazing how in the middle of the desert there is this oasis...
We arrive there, and we search for Venetian Hotel, the one we are going to stay at this first night, it is amazing the amount of people on the streets, even with this hot, it is almost 3pm, we are around 105F. Hopefully, everywhere there is this nice Air Conditioning, really strong, so that you can stay cool. We have to wait a bit to get our room, loads of people doing the check in at same time, and some making a bit of trouble to get their rooms ready. After a bit, we get our room keys, and we proceed to our 21st suite room. Amazing room, for few more than 100 bucks, 3 plasma tv, one in bedroom, one in living room and one in the bathroom... simply amazing!
We decide to have a look around and go to have lunch in one of the big range of restaurants we have in the hotel. After that, we go to walk a bit, sightseeing. The hotel is big, we visit as well Palazzo, Caesars, Wynn, Encore, etc....
After some shopping and some round at casino, we decide to go to our room, get changed and go to relax a bit to the hotel pool, so we can rest a bit to save some power for the casino night.
In the evening, we are tempted by a noodle restaurant in our hotel, and pretty close to the casino, so that we do not have to walk a lot to get to the vice :P
We play a bit casino, and sudendly we realize it is late enough and we have lost enough money to go to bed. Tomorrow it will be really tough driving, we are going to Grand Canyon, something like 6 hours driving...
