Buenas noches.

English:
The alarm woked us up earlier than previous days, so we were a bit sleepy while headed towards Starbucks at the
corner where our hotel is. We had the normal capuccino and english muffin, got ready for the car and put everything into the car, as we were going to give a lift to Chris and Mel to the international San Francisco Airport, where they were going to take a rented car to get back to Santa Barbara.
On our way to the airport, we wanted to see the famous Lombard Street, that one so deep that was changed into a winding street, so that cars can make it go go down. We struggled to get to the place, as it was a bit tricky, but then, when we arrived, we discovered that it was blocked, and just because of a photoshooting was going to be held there, pity... we could not ride down the slope
The way to the airport rent a car, was tricky as well, navigator first took us to airport then, asking a lady we figured out that the rent a car facilities where far away from the terminals, the same as in Los Angeles (strange...) so we had to come back out footsteps for a while.
We left Chris and Mel at the rent a car facilities, and we said bye to them until next friday.
We headed our way to San Jose, crossed a huge bridge on the water, and some miles afterwards, we stopped at a remote location, not scheduled one, to search for a gas station. Hopefully, we saw an outlet, and decided to have a look, just in case. We ended up spending some hundred dollars in garments (we could not resist the temptation).
After having fueled, we kept on going our way, we saw desert lands, dry landscapes with olives, very similar to those mediterranean ones, and at the latest part of our trip, the landscape was changing dramatically, from flat dry lands, first really steep uphills, where even signals to turn the AC off were advised, to some alpine like landscapes with pine trees. After a couple of hundred miles, we arrived at the entrance of yosemite park, we paid the entrance fee and we began discovering the marvellous world there is in here. We were amazed, the landscapes are beautiful, trees, rocky mountains, peeks, cliffs...
We had to drive more than one hour inside the park, to get to the village where we were going to overnight (Curry village). Actually, this village is in the middle of the valley and has some facilities to offer. We are staying in a tent, framed one, there are different kind of tents available here, some more expensive than others, but this one seems to be more comfortable than the other ones, of course there were more expensive options, but this is more fun... Even we have to keep food in special bear proof lockers, but no bear´s sight.
We go to have some dinner, not many options though, but we manage to eat something and read a bit about what to do the next day, while we are in the tent. We are quite tired, and even if people still scream outside, it is almost 10pm and curfew to stop making noise is arrived. Before getting into bed, and with the door already closed, there is a small animal which gets into the tent, after reading that venomous snakes are around, I decide to block the small gap the animal entered through, because I really need to rest and not sleep with one eye open...
Good Night
