En mitad de la noche, oi que alguien llamaba a nuestra puerta, la pregunta es si era realmente nuestra puerta o era la de algun otro, y yo realmente estaba demasiado dormido para levantarme y abrir la puerta. Pero creo que un oso no era... Nos levantamos a las 8.15am, recogimos todo y nos fuimos a desayunar. Muy bueno, por cierto. No me esperaba un desayuno asi en un lugar como este... Una buena manera de empezar el dia, y fue una buena idea, porque no sabiamos la que nos esperaba despues... Recogimos todo lo que habia en la tienda, la caja anti osos y llevamos todo al coche, asi que nos montamos en el siguiente autobus que hace la ruta del valle, para hacer alguna caminata. Decidimos hacer el mist trail, que nos deberia llevar hasta las cataras de nevada. Parece una ruta facil, ya que la ruta esta incluso asfaltada, pero es bastante empinada. La gente que se queda en la cuneta con la lengua fuera. Tras 0.8 millas, llegamos un puente, que pasa por encima de un rio, y desde donde hay una magnifica vista. Creo que deberemos seguir adelante para ver mas. El camino se hace cada vez mas empinado, rocoso y lleno de tierra. A un cierto punto hay una maravillosa vista a un lado del camino, en un lugar lleno de rocas, cerca del rio. Creo que merece la pena acercarse a ver, y asi que hago. Fue un poco complicado llegar hasta alli, demasiada gente en el camino, estrecho, muchas piedras, pero lo conseguimos... Volviendo hacia el valle, cerca de la parada del autobus, decidimos que necesitamos descansar un poco, asi que estamos un buen rato alli con los pies en el agua. Despues, hacemos algunas compras en las tiendas del valle, unas cuantas fotos en el valle y algunas mas mientras vamos hacia fresno. Finalmente, llegamos a Fresno, hacemos el check-in, la verdad es que merece la pena el sitio, aunque este en el medio de la nada, y cerca de la autopista, pero nos da igual, ya que lo que queremos es descansar del viaje y salir el dia siguiente hacia Santa Barbara. Tomamos algo de sushi a domicilio para cenar... uno de los peores que he tomado en mi vida, pero no habia muchas otras posibilidades, y nos fuimos a dormir. Fran

During the middle of the night, i heard someone knocking on the door, the question is if it was on our door or someone else´s, as it was slightly, and I was too sleepy to get up and see. I guess it was not a bear though.
We wake up at 8.15am, clean just a few, and have breakfast, which was really good. To be honest, I did not expect such a good one in a place like this... Good power boost for the rest of the day, and it was actually good that we did that way, as we did not know how hard was what was waiting for us...
We emptied the tent, the bear safe lockers and we bring everything into the car, so that we can hop onto the free shuttle which runs around the yosemite valley to do some trails. We decide to take the mist trail, which brings us until the nevada falls. It seems to be easy one, as the road is paved, but at some point, it begins dramatically to be steeper and steeper. People taking rests on the sides of the trail and panting. After 0.8 miles, we arrived at a bridge over a river with a very nice view, but the falls is not seen yet, I guess we have to go further. The trail is getting steeper, the paved trail turns into an unpaved, rocky and dusty one. At some point, there is a nice view of the fall from outside the trail on a place full of rocks by the river, i guess it is worth to go up and see the fall closer, and so i do. It was tricky to get up there, many people on the trail, narrow, many rocks, but we made it¡
On the way back, by the river close to shuttle stop, we decide our feet need a rest, and we stay there for a while getting the feet in the water.
Later on, we did some shopping at the shops in the village, a bit more of pictures in the valley and during our trip to Fresno.
We finally arrived to Fresno, we checked-in at the hotel, really nice one, a Radisson Sas, in a really nowhere city, and close to freeway, but, we really do not care about it, as we were there only for a good sleep and the next morning we were going back to Santa Barbara. We had a take away sushi at the hotel... really bad one, but there were not really good other options, unfortunatelly... and we went to sleep
